The Future of Food

A recipe for sustainability

We know how much you value the importance of healthy eating, honest labelling, recyclable packaging, food waste and British sourcing. Our Future of Food ambition looks at how we tackle those challenges up to the year 2030. Everyone has a part to play because together, we can make a difference.

Our Future of Food ambition is split into three main components that outline a more sustainable and ethical future. Like any good meal, it’s about ensuring we’ve got quality ingredients that are treated with care and shared with love.

Sourcing & Creating With Care

All of our products will be created with respect for people and the planet and made with quality and sustainability at their heart. You should know where your food comes from and be able to make healthier and more sustainable choices.

Sustainable plastics

Single-use plastics are a critical threat to our environment and we're taking a stand. Back in 2017, we stated that we want to make all of our packaging easy to recycle and since then we've moved from 46% to 71% recyclable. That's real progress but we know we can do more despite the challenges involved. Find out how and why we're moving single-use plastics from our products altogether.

Packaging & Recycling

We also know it can be hard to recycle certain products and we listen to your frustrations about recyclability at home and use them to make our packaging smarter.
